About Rising Tide CounselingRising Tide Counseling was founded in 2019 on a simple idea: therapy should be accessible, affirming, and built around the person in the room rather than the other way around.
Dr. Tiffany Cutrone founded Rising Tide Counseling after spending enough time inside systems that felt more harmful than helpful. She wanted to build something different, and that intention still shapes every part of how we practice.
We work with people the world wasn't built around: LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent adults, trauma survivors, military-connected families, and young people who are carrying more than the adults around them realize. Lived experience is woven into our clinical training, so you're seen from the very beginning.
You won't be pushed, pathologized, or handed a worksheet and sent on your way. You'll be met where you are, as you are, and we'll figure out the rest together.
Meet Our Team
We draw from evidence-based approaches and adapt them to fit you: your history, your brain, your life. The relationship between you and your clinician is the foundation of everything.
Practical tools for staying present and regulating your nervous system, grounded in the belief that you already have more within you than you've been given credit for.
Rather than pushing away difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT helps you accept them as part of being human and commit to action aligned with your values.
Everything we do is grounded in an understanding of how trauma lives in the body and shows up in daily life. You don't have to name it perfectly or be in crisis to deserve support.
We affirm LGBTQIA+ identities fully. Black and Brown lives matter. Immigrants deserve dignity and access to care. Neurodiversity is not a deficit. Your body and autonomy matter.
